It Works
How & Why
Sunday 10:00 am East Bay Central Literature study
For more than a quarter century, one East Bay Central group has kept a steady Sunday rhythm - opening a single book, one chapter at a time, and starting over when they reach the end.
MEETING SINCE
1998
CYCLE LENGTH
24 weeks
" We alternate every Sunday - Step one week, Tradition the next - working straight through 1 to 12 and then we start over "
- THE GROUP, ON HOW THIS MEETING WORKS
The meeting takes its name for It Works: How and Why, one of NA's foundational texts. The book walks through the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions one at a time.
Sunday at 10:00 am, a single chapter of the book is read and discussed. The rotation alternates between Step weeks and Tradition weeks, running 1 through 12, then starting again. Anyone is welcome to attend, including newcomers and visitors.
Zoom Meetings can be attended with a computer, a smart phone or via call-in with ANY telephone.
